Write the name of the project, what you hope to finish and the next useful action. Keep this separate from a large collection of inspiration so it is easy to see what needs attention.
Record decisions
When you make a choice, write a sentence about it. Include a source link if you relied on instructions. Later, that small record can explain why you chose a particular approach.
Close the loop
At the end of a session, note what is finished and what comes next. A clear stopping point makes returning to the project easier, even after a busy week.
