Choose a starting point

Think about the notes you look for repeatedly: a project idea, a list for a trip or instructions you wrote for yourself. Choose one place where you can find those everyday notes again. Start with non-sensitive information, so you can test the habit without turning this into an account-security project.

Use names you will remember

Give each note a title that describes its purpose. A title such as Weekend packing list offers a better starting point than New note. Add a date where the timing matters and keep related notes near each other.

Review what helps

After a week, notice which notes you actually opened. Keep the useful ones easy to reach. You can refine a small collection gradually instead of organizing every old note before beginning.
