Start with what you were trying to do. Mention the device or application when it is relevant, without including account credentials or private documents.
Separate observations from guesses
Write what you saw, including the wording of an error after removing personal details. Explain what happened just before it appeared. Keep your interpretation separate from the exact message.
Keep the answer with the task
When you find an answer, save its source and a short note about whether it helped. Product instructions can change; keeping the source makes it easier to check the current version later.
